According to the English portion of the can: Pocari Sweat is a helthy beverage that smoothly supplies the lost water and electrolytes during perspiration. With the appropriate density and electrolytes, close to that of human body fluid, it can be easily absorbed into the body. at work, when playing sports, after a bath, when waking up, Pocari Sweat is the most appropriate beverage to quench your thirst and give your body what it needs in any situation. Well, lets crack it open.
It makes a nice hiss when opened, definatly has a grapefruit smell. It tastes very much like grapefruit, much more that Aquarius does, it even has the grapefruit aftertaste. It is defiantly less sweet than Aquarius, which is a nice change of pace. It has a cloudy clear-white color, I imagine it doesn't have any food coloring. Overall, this is a very pleasant sports drink. To really sum it up, its like a electrolytic grapefruit water, which is good.
At first I thought this was Engrish, turns out its just a more hard core water.
Now lets try the snow pea crisps
I have had these in the States, same company, different bag. Those were also baked in California, where I believe these are baked in Japan. Lets see if there is a difference.
they look the same
Mein GOTT!
these have my out of focus approval
Fortunately for me, these are just as good as the ones I've had in the states. They have a very mild saltyness to them and a satisfying soft crunch, like stepping in Autumn leaves. Its a little hard to describe the flavor, if you've ever had snow or snap pea pods, imagine those baked likes a potato chip with a little salt and you pretty much have the flavor of these. They are excellent and I hardily suggest you try them. In Japan (Okinawa anyway), you can often find them as bar nibbles, which is what I think they were made for anyway.
