The beers of FUTENMA part 5: Sella Artois

Now for my review of Stella Artois premium lager beer. This was given to me by my friend Sims as I previously swore I would never purchase another beer from Satan (Anheuser-Busch InBev)

When I open the bottle it releases a slight hiss and out emerges a pungent smell I find hard to describe. I have always loved it, but never known what really made it. It reminds me of the Greenville Zoo, or running over a skunk. I know that sounds unpleasant for something you are going to put in you're mouth, but that's the memories it brings up.

I have poured the beer into my favorite Orion mug, it has a nice golden color, a few bubbles rising from the bottom. If anything, this is an atheistically pleasing beer, kind of reminds me of the late 1950's for whatever reason. Well, time to taste.

It tastes like it smells... I just cannot tell whether I like that fact or not. I complained about the Monchshof Lager not being interesting and God sent me this beer. whether blessing or punishment I have yet to determine.

It kind of has a lager taste under the other pungent flavor. It's growing on me a little, but I have still have yet to decide whether I like it. It has developed a sort of metallic after taste, but I'm not going to hold it against this beer as I'm not certain I don't have a cut in my mouth. I'm going to put on some INK SPOTS to distract me from my troubles.

I tried to give it the benefit of the doubt and keep an open mind, but I just don't really like this beer. I'm going to chalk it up to personal taste, it's just not my thing. On further note, I'm going to try to stop complaining about beers being flavorless, less The Almighty send me another reminder to not complain about the beer he sends my way.
