The beers of FUTENMA part 6: Monchshof Naturtrubes Kellerbier

Another day, another Monchshof. Today we have a Kellerbier by them. According to the webbernet, Kellerbier (or cellar beer for English speakers, namely me) is a top or bottom fermented Lager that dates back to the middle ages. It supposibly retains a great deal of yeast and is therefore very cloudy. So lets crack it open and find out.

Naturally I will pour it into my super traditional Orion mug, frosted of course.
now that's what I call a tall frosty one

Ooh, that is a live one! I gave quite the hiss when I opened it, and spat a bit too. It pours frothy, with quite a head, I was worried about it spilling over when I was about half done filling the mug. On first sip, it tastes a lot like the Monchshof Lager, but with a much deeper flavor. It has a deep brown color to it, with golden edges, even through that glorious fog, I can see a great deal of bubbles forming. Finally a Lager I can really enjoy! Weight wise, it is much heavier than most lagers. And despite the great deal of head, it is not filling.

I'm feeling great, I think I'll put on "Atom bomb baby"
I just found this one, I love it.

It certainly is an athstedically pleasing beer.
sorry, camera's still on selfie mode
That's the stuff

I would like to take this time to thank God for the fantastic beers he has given us

I need to wrap this up, this is the best Lager I have had in a while. I would highly suggest it to anyone who is not fantastically basic or completely absent of taste.
